Support the Medway Winter Coat Drive

Medway winter coat drive

Parkwood Primary School is supporting a vital Medway initiative to ensure that no baby, child, or adult goes cold due to a lack of a winter coat.

If you have any coats which can be of use to someone else, please consider donating them to this cause.

How you can support this cause?

Families can bring their coats to the Wayfield Hub or if you are unable to visit the hub, Parkwood Primary School will be opening their doors on Wednesday 13th November for people to drop them off. So please hold onto them until then!

If you’re dropping off any coats on Wednesday 13th November, please bring them to the After School Club building.

How to access the coats you need

If you are in need of a coat this winter please make use of the Medway Coat Drive. Find locations here.

Clothes bank

Please also remember that we have a clothes bank on-site at the school. So if you have any unwanted items you can donate them here.

We can accept the following in the bin:

✅Clothing

✅Paired shoes

✅Hats

✅Belts

✅Handbags

✅Linen

✅Books

✅CD’s & DVD’s

✅Video games

✅Jewellery

✅Accessories

✅Mobile phones

✅Homeware

✅Bric-a-brac

We can’t accept:

❌Torn, dirty, unwearable clothes

❌Textile scrap

❌Damaged goods

❌Mattresses

❌Duvets

❌Pillows

We have already had one bin collection so thank you everyone for your support!
