We have a brand new event for our children to enjoy!
We have lots of budding footballers within our school community and we thought what better way to help us raise the money for the school, then to host a fun football activity at school!
Event Details
Date: Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th March 2025

Location: Parkwood Primary School Junior Hall

What’s this about?
Children will be told about our new event in a school assembly so they know what is coming up.
On the same day, we will send out further information on Parentmail (or you can find everything you need here).
Essentially we are asking the children to raise money via sponsorship and they can earn prizes and be in with a chance of winning the ultimate prize (see below).
The money raised will help us with the cost of installing the new screen and projector needed in the Junior Hall. (The Infant Hall screen has been very well received so we want to get this in asap for our older children as well).
Can you volunteer?
All of our PSA events rely on volunteers helping out.
At the moment we believe we have enough help for this event, but if this changes we will let you know and reach out for support.
Football Darts
Maybe your child thinks they’re the next Cristiano Ronaldo or Ellen White or they barely even look at a football! It doesn’t matter, this event will be fun for every child!
We will have a giant inflatable football darts board placed in our Junior Hall and every child will have a chance to achieve the highest score.
Every child will come away with a certificate, but there are further prizes and trophies up for grabs too!
Sponsorship and Prizes
We are working with Soccer Star Coaching who are helping us coordinate this event and will be supplying all of the prizes.
Children will have sponsorship targets to reach to unlock prizes as you can see from the image below.
Your child has a chance to win a tour of Wembley Stadium and a family ticket to Gulliver’s Land!
How will the event work?
Each class will enter the hall during their allotted time and will each step up individually for their chance to rank highest on the scoreboard!
Each class will have a winner receiving a trophy and we might even challenge the teachers to their own competition as well!
The event will be taking place during school hours with the PSA assisting the teachers throughout the day.
We want this to be as fun as possible, so whilst it is a sponsorship event, we still want each child to come away with great memories of the day.
What do I need to do now?
To help our fundraising cause and to give your child the best chance of winning prizes, we recommend that you reach out to friends and family to sponsor your child.
