More about the event
We have listened to the feedback from previous years and to ensure that the children have the best possible experience we have booked an amazing DJ who received glowing reviews last year.
We will focus on keeping the disco as interactive as possible as well as keeping the noise to a manageable level for younger ears.
By placing volunteers strategically around the venue, we ensure all the children have access to an adult whenever required if they need support.
How will pick up after the disco work?
We ask that everyone remains patient when it comes to pick-up time. As we are sure you can appreciate, we want to ensure we manage this well so that all children are looked after and sent home in a controlled manner.
As such we would ask that you queue up at the double doors to the right of the school Reception. We will then lead you to the Infants Hall where your child will be waiting to be collected.
Once you have picked up your child, please exit the hall via the double doors to the right of the Infant Hall.
If you all have a child attending the Year 4-6 Disco, please pick up your younger child/children first and then drop off your eldest.

What is PTA Events?
To allow us to track ticket sales and process card payments we use a system call PTA Events. (As seen in screen shot image).
The portal isn’t always the most user-friendly, however, once you’re set up on the system we hope it will be a pain-free experience for you!
You will be able to select your ticket along with the option to sign up as an event volunteer if you are able to.
Please ensure you notify us of any dietary or medical requirements.
And we also have the option for song requests!
FAQ’s
I’m not sure if my child wants to attend.
That’s not a problem, booking will remain open until Tuesday 15th October. Have a chat with them and book if you are ready.
I’m worried my child isn’t ready to attend a school disco
Some parents find volunteering a great way to provide emotional support to their children. Feel free to have a chat with us to see if there is a role you could help us with and also ensure your child is happy at the event.
My child has dietary or medical requirements
Not a problem, please make us aware of this when you are booking your ticket. We will have first aid on site at all times during the event.
How will my child get changed into their fancy dress?
All children who would like to dress up, are asked to bring their clothes into school on the day of the disco in a named bag. They will then get changed at the end of the day ready for the disco.
