More about the event
Following the success of our Halloween Disco we have invited our favourite DJ back for our Christmas celebrations!
The disco is kept as interactive as possible as well as keeping the noise to a manageable level for younger ears.
We will focus on keeping the disco as interactive as possible as well as keeping the noise to a manageable level for younger ears.
By placing volunteers strategically around the venue, we ensure all the children have access to an adult whenever required if they need support.
The Year 4 – 6 disco also has the extra fun of snack stalls for the children.
They will have the option to purchase additional snacks and drinks along with the option to visit our Christmas stall which will feature some seasonal toys.
If you would like your child to have a hot dog at the event (vegan option available) you will need to pre-book this at an additional cost one you purchase your ticket.
How will pick up after the disco work?
We ask that everyone remains patient when it comes to pick-up time.
As we are sure you can appreciate, we want to ensure we manage this well so that all children are looked after and sent home in a controlled manner.
As such we would ask that you queue up at the double doors leading into the Junior Hall. We will then lead you out via another set of doors to allow for a better flow of people when leaving.

What is PTA Events?
To allow us to track ticket sales and process card payments we use a system called PTA Events. (As seen in screen shot image).
The portal isn’t always the most user-friendly, however, once you’re set up on the system we hope it will be a pain-free experience for you!
You will be able to select your ticket along with the option to sign up as an event volunteer if you are able to.
Please ensure you notify us of any dietary or medical requirements.
And we also have the option for song requests!
FAQ’s
I’m not sure if my child wants to attend.
That’s not a problem, booking will remain open until Monday 9th December. Have a chat with them and book if you are ready.
I’m worried my child isn’t ready to attend a school disco
Some parents find volunteering a great way to provide emotional support to their children. Feel free to have a chat with us to see if there is a role you could help us with and also ensure your child is happy at the event.
My child has dietary or medical requirements
Not a problem, please make us aware of this when you are booking your ticket. We will have first aid on site at all times during the event.
What if my child doesn’t like the food available?
We are working as hard as possible to cater to all tastes, but as we are sure you can appreciate (especially with children), this will sometimes be tricky. We do our best to cover a range of flavours for all snacks available.
I pre-ordered a hot dog, how do I make sure my child receives this?
If you have pre-ordered a hot dog we will have this noted on our booking system. On arrival, your child will be given a ticket to redeem their food and it is their responsibility to do so.
Why can’t my child bring their mobile phone?
We need to safeguard all the children who attend this event. And therefore the use of mobile phones is prohibited.
