Who are the PSA?
Parkwood Schools Association (PSA) is a registered charity and works solely to raise funds for Parkwood Primary School. The funds are used to purchase additional resources which are not available within the school budget.
The PSA is run on a voluntary basis by a small team of committee members and volunteers. All parents, carers, guardians and staff of the school are automatically members of PSA and can attend meetings and become a committee member.
Why do we need to fundraise?
The school only gets a limited amount of funding from the government and so the PSA acts to supplement this by organising fundraising events.
To see how the money is spent take a look at our blog.

Where does the money go?
The primary fundraising goal for the PSA has always been to help fund the school minibus. This is something we are very proud to be able to support as it enables children to experience school trips, activities and attend sporting activities.
This year (2024/25) we have an additional goal to support the installation of new audio visual equipment in both of the school halls.
