A Fantastic Welcome to our Foundation Stage Pupils

Over the past week, we have celebrated the start of the educational journey for our youngest pupils, our new starters in the Foundation Stage.

Starting school is a massive milestone, and the PSA wanted to recognise this.

As parents we understand how difficult some children find it to remember details about school life, so last week we handed out some bingo cards for the children to complete at home.

The idea was to provide some conversation starters to encourage the children to remember their school day and enjoy talking about it at home so they could tick off their task.

Yesterday the Foundation Stage pupils had a special visitor come to the school to help us really get the party started…Captain Fantastic!

Over the one hour party the children experienced magic, bubbles, dancing and lots of laughter. The smiles on their faces filled us with so much pride in being able to organise and run this event for them!

And even better to get some feedback from the children themselves:

We’re so glad we were able to give them such a special welcome to our school.

The event then wrapped up with a little drink and snack before our super FS pupils made their way back to their classrooms where they discovered their very own little party bags donated by PSA member Suzanne.

Without the amazing support of Clean Wizards UK LTD we wouldn’t have been able to run this event.

We’re so grateful for Jon’s involvement and donation allowing us to book this incredible experience for the children.

It was the perfect way to welcome our Foundation Stage pupils to Parkwood Primary School.

And a special shout out to our PSA team who volunteered to support at the event.

No event can be run without volunteers, so we’re super grateful for this help.

As our final congratulations for making such a super start to life at Parkwood Primary School, we have one more little surprise coming, so FS parents please keep your eyes open for this!

Thanks again to Clean Wizards UK LTD for sponsoring this event.

To help us understand your experience of this event and to enable us to provide the best experiences and events for the children at Parkwood Primary School, we would be really grateful if you would complete this 2 minute survey for us.

It’s completely anonymous and it will help us so much.

Thanks!
